10-day China residential for globally leading E-MBA programme
Design and organise a 10-day residential schedule for US-based EMBA programme in Shanghai and Suzhou region. The aim was to meet and learn from key players in the omni-channel supply chain in areas of (i) automotive, (ii) consumerables producer, and (iii) manufacturing, and ultimately be enveloped within the context of doing business in China.
1-month training for 108 managers pre-embarking on overseas business
To support efforts of internationalisation and sustainable growth, CRRC is committed to training 10,000 employees as a component of China’s 13th Five Year Plan. For the 4th year of cooperation, this programme was designed to equip training participants with core communication skills needed when leading teams in an international context. The programme objectives included (i) developing ability to recognise core business topics from both China and Western perspectives, (ii) reinforcing core skillsets for managing cross-cultural business relationships, (iii) improving participant cultural awareness and interpersonal skills, and (iv) ensuring all training participants can clearly and confidently communicate in English.
CRRC: Executive programme
Design and organise 1-month programme to provide fundamental PESTEL overview of UK rail sector. The programme focused on achieving the core aims of (i) meeting key Government representatives, (ii) visiting key players across full rail supply chain, from manufacturing, supplying to operating, (iii) learning from top rail consulting and research institutions about major factors impacting sector going forward.
Samsung: Motivating teams
Covering a range of light-hearted topics, Alex Mackrell and John Storm highlighted how communication differences can lead to a range of both wonderful and disastrous endings.
E-MBA in Supply Chain

Sydney University Summer School
Design and organise 4-day academic programme as core component of broader 10-day residential study. The aim of the credit-bearing module was to (i) understand core cultural aspects impacting local employability, (ii) explore new innovations, and (iii) realise fundamental drivers taking Chinese companies overseas.
BMS: Coaching skills
Design and deliver 2 workshops on consecutive days. The first being an introduction to the global communication model and the associated skills required for new Medical Sales Liaison (MSL)s in China. The second day focused on coaching for managers in alignment with BMS’s global approach.
Amplity Health Communication skills
Outlander Consulting supports Amplity Health in implementing training solutions for the pharmaceutical industry across South East Asia. Amplity Health is the leading training solutions provider for Medical Science Liaisons, servicing all of the big name end clients such as AstraZeneca, BMS, Ipsen, Merck, Novartis, Roche.

SUPPORTING AFGHAN REFUGEES
The logistical feat required to achieve this mass exodus of refugees is huge. What tends to receive less coverage however is the considerably more complex challenge of integrating such a huge volume of people back into every day communities. John Storm, from Outlander Consulting, has been asked to join delivery of a programme aiming to support 35 Afghan refugees as they seek to get to grips with their new normal.
