COURSE

Corporate Governance

PROJECT OVERVIEW

The course overview

This course was designed to emerge students into the key factors of corporate governance and provide a deeper understanding towards the complexities of applying corporate governance principles within an organizational setting. Through frequent case study and discussion, the linkage between governance and performance was clearly highlighted.

Commencing with a foundational understanding of Agency Theory and Corporate Governance as a tool for Risk Management and Compliance, students came to grasp how a wider perspective of Corporate Governance – when applied proactively – can transcend regular corporate functions to become a highly strategic focal point for business that includes all aspects of organisational life.
